Carlisle Barracks contractor misused government credit cards, feds say

A federal grand jury in Harrisburg has indicted a civilian contractor at Carlisle Barracks on a charge that he misused government-issued credit cards to buy thousands of dollars in fuel for his own vehicle.

The indictment, issued this week in U.S. Middle District Court, accuses Scott J. Robinson of improperly charging $3,602 to the four government cards between February and mid-July 2014, when he was performing landscaping and lawn care work at the barracks.

Robinson was supposed to use the cards only to buy fuel for four government-owned vehicles he used for his work at the facility under federal contract, charging documents state. The alleged misuse of the cards occurred in Cumberland and Franklin counties, according to the indictment.
